Hello. I am Ramin Ali Velibekov, a film composer and music producer. Born in Khudat, Azerbaijan. My father introduced me to music when I was 4 when he showed me how to play guitar. When I was 9 I fell in love with film music after watching Back to the Future.

As a child, I was engaged in classical and jazz music and studied our folk music Mugham, in addition to studying piano at my secondary music school. Since 2007 I have been working as a record producer for popular artists in Azerbaijan and to this date I have produced over 100 singles and accompanied artists

during their live shows.

Despite being known as a pop producer, I've been gradually shifting my focus to film music for the past 6-8b years. Throughout these years I have been learning how to create music for movies, while listening to famous composers and incorporating classical, pop, folk, and electronic music in my own compositions. I have worked on two feature movies as main and additional composer and in 2024 I have been commissioned to write a score for With love from Orion, a fantasy drama movie in Azerbaijan.

My favorite movie genres are fantasy, science fiction, and adventure comedies. Back to the Future, Ready Player One, The Holiday and Blade Runner 2049 are my all-time favorites, which I enjoy re-watching whenever I need to get inspiration. Harry Gregson-Williams, Thomas Newman, Alan Silvestri, and John Debney are my favorite film composers, which have been a great influence on me.
