2.1 GEMS registration forms collect the following data:

3.1 You directly provide us with all of the data we collect. Our website is hosted on the Wix.com platform, who collect data and process data when you:

3.3 Contact us using the contact us form or any other form on the GEMS websites.
3.4 We may process information contained in any enquiry you submit to us regarding services “enquiry data”. The enquiry data may be processed for the purposes of offering, marketing and selling relevant services to you. The legal basis for this processing is consent.
3.5 Make a tuition fee, registration fee, sponsor payment on our website through our secure payment processing services (Stripe and Paypal) which are PCI, and GDPR compliant.
3.6 We may process data about your use of our website “usage data”.
Usage data may include your IP address, geographical location, browser type and version, operating system, referral source, length of visit, page views and website navigation paths. This data may be processed for the purposes of analysing the use of the website. The legal basis for this processing is consent and our legitimate interests, namely monitoring and improving our website.

4.5 Add and publish your email and phone number to the GEMS Composers Directory page on the GEMS website, summer program classroom materials, the GEMS magazine.

5 Where do we store your data?
5.1 GEMS is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our services to you. Your data you provide may be stored through Wix.com data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.
5.2 Your data is then processed at the our data controller’s (owners) operating offices and in any other places where the parties involved with the processing are located. For further information, please contact the Data Controller using the contact form on the website to request our email.

6 Retention time

6.1 Your data is kept for the time necessary to provide the service requested by you, or stated by the purposes outlined in this document, and you can always request that the Data Controller suspend or remove your data.

You have the right at any time to stop GEMS from contacting you for marketing purposes. If you no longer wish to be contacted for marketing purposes, please unsubscribe to any email marketing information sent to you or contact us below.

11 About Cookies
