The Flamenco Front Row Spectacular

GEMS Events are hosted and performed in the classroom, during the GEMS Film Scoring Summer Program, giving you a front row seat for some of Spains most magical and gifted performances you will ever see, plus a chance to meet and talk to the performers afterwards.

Spain is the birthplace and home of Flamenco, and is deeply rooted as part of the cultural identity and heritage of Spain and Spaniards.

The dancer, the flowing shawl, the speed and percussive sounds of both the heel and the tip of the foot, the singer, the guitarist, the distinctive hand clapping, all help tell stories evoking passion, love, sadness, despair, joy, and so much more.

It is such an explosive and passionate experience seeing authentic Spanish Flamenco in Spain, performed right in front of you, is something you will never forget.

Afterwards you get to meet the performers and who knows get them to play on your next score!
