Alp Yurtoğlu is composer, pianist and a sound artists originating from Türkiye and now located in Switzerland.

His musical background consists of a classical piano, theory and composition training in Türkiye and Switzerland, and he is now studying in a bachelors in Sound Arts in Hochschule Der Künste Bern (HKB).

His artistic practice focuses on blending western classical, ethnic eastern, especially Turkish and electronic sounds with the addition of live or pre programmed effects.

His passion is to compose for film and video games. He has experience in composing for a variety of film genres, in a rescoring, competition and indie project contexts.

This diverse background and willingness to explore different cultures and possibilities in the context of music, allows him to be a flexible composer.

He gives concerts in both classical piano context and in a experimental electroacoustic Sound Arts context.

Also his artistic practice includes preparing electroacoustic music installations which focus on experimental physical and digital media within a spatial sound context.
