Robyn is a composer, with a focus on film, based in Aotearoa New Zealand.

After studying Biomedical Science and working in a genetics lab, Robyn decided to change careers and pursue film composing, completing a Master of Fine Arts (CP) in Music/Sound with Distinction from the NZSM Te Kōkī. She has not looked back since.

In 2022, Robyn worked as the Music Team Assistant on Avatar: The Way Of Water, assisting internationally award-winning composer Simon Franglen and the music team.

Since then she has worked as a music editor and assistant on two upcoming New Zealand feature films. Most recently Robyn wrote the music for Mike Smith's feature film It's All About You, being released later this year.

Robyn has scored for many projects and genres within feature and short films, documentaries, live cinema, theatre, and music festival events. Her music is fun, inventive, and polished.

Most importantly, Robyn goes above and beyond to create a score that supports and uplifts the director's vision, enhancing the story on the screen.
