I would like to extend an invitation to you, our GEMS Alumni to join us and say hello to your old friend and mentor, the mighty Christopher Young. Online or if you are local and want to join us in person, even better. Come along.

At the very start of the GEMS Film Scoring Summer Program, all those years ago, I  introduced Christopher Young as the only person I would ever want to start our first GEMS Film Scoring Summer Program. Christopher generously say yes to being “Our Visiting Hollywood Dude" and the rest, as they say, is history.

I met Christopher Young several years before I founded GEMS. We have been firm friends ever since that first day I interviewed him. I know for many of you, he has been influential and supportive, helping move peoples careers forward including GEMS composers being sponsored to live and work in the USA, staying over at his home with your partner, attending events as his guest, using his studio, joining him for studio meetings or going on to work for him as his assistant.

Christopher, ASKS me about you all. Where are they? What are they doing? He genuinely cares about each and every one of you he has met on the GEMS summer program. Me, not so much!!!! jajajaja. Come on you know I do!

So, if you have some free time on Saturday July 15th, 2023, and fancy saying hello, he would be thrilled. All the old team will be there as well. I have opened up 2 times to cover our international alumni family. So, choose one that suits you and when you register, just choose your time, morning or afternoon, and stick around.

Once registered here, ZOOM will automatically send you a link on the day. If you choose to attend in person, please visit our GEMS FAQ page for the venue address in VALENCIA, and bring some ID, I will add your name to the guest list at reception.


 

You can join in any time during either the morning or the afternoon class. If you want to say hello or speak with Christopher, then it's only available the start of class, otherwise he will be in to his teaching.
