Back to basics

Updated: Jul 25, 2019

As we grow professionally and rely on our art to cover our living needs we slowly begin to loose the spontaneity and playfulness in the process of creating. We start to take ourselves too seriously and shut up the muse shouting at the top of its lungs trying to be heard. And it is not until question our craft that we understand that rationalization is an aftermath; a result and should never be the process.

Today’s our second day in the AMAZING workshop with Chris Young and today's exercise was all about honoring our voice. About waiting for the muse to call in and let her sing to us. Follow its melody to the setting place and let it flow.

The most effective melodies are the ones that come naturally!!
