What am amazing day to kick off the 2019 program! After being welcomed into the beautiful (and, importantly, air conditioned) building, we all became and aquatinted and reacquainted and settled in for an incredible day of learning from the one and only Christopher Young!
Christopher covered so much territory and so many subjects throughout his class in such an incisive, inspiring and hilarious way. From the history of film music to his own journey into the field to the importance of melody, there was just so much to take in and absorb!
And for tomorrow, we've all been set an assignment to compose a catchy and memorable melody within a given structure and chord sequence, to be performed in tomorrow's class! Off now to see what I can come up with...
