Improvising may not be the first thing that one thinks of as the tool of a film composer but today Christopher showed just how valuable it can be! We watched an action scene from 'Copycat' (a very underrated film by the way) several times and then took turns sitting at the piano and bashing out an ostinato to match it, the results were creative and exciting and the process was certainly new, definitely a technique to keep in the toolbox!
